In this painting I searched for breath.
What seems like movement is a battle between oxygen that seeks space and carbon dioxide that tries to suffocate it.
The colors blue and gray are not air. They are substances that no longer have purity, slow streams of gas that rotate like a body without limbs.
In this atmosphere, every brush is a molecule in panic.
Breathing is no longer biological, but industrial. A mechanism that produces life and pollution at the same time.
I am interested in that gray area, where nothing is alive but moves. Where the air has learned to survive amidst the smoke.
An air that does not know if it lives or works.
