In this painting, I did not seek to burn, but to remain within the heat.
The colors are slow breaths, layers moving like light through the glass body of alcohol.
The pinks and reds embody passion. The way it is contained, how burning can turn into elegance.
I have felt the fire as a silent tension, like Campari that burns without noise, leaving its taste in the blood and never healing the wound.
Then everything begins to move slowly, like liquid touching the body of ice. A taste that melts, little by little, on the lips.
In the end, the fire smiles beneath the skin and stays quiet.
It understands there is no need to burn any further. It only needs to remain alive, calm, beautiful, a little drunk.
